IKATRIO is a puzzle where you tap squid tiles from a big pile and match 3 of the same squid in the tray below to clear them. Each color of squid wears its own little accessory, like a crown or a ribbon. The tray only has 7 spaces, so deciding which squid to pick next gets wonderfully addictive!
Clear stage 300 on Hard for an IQ of 160!
How to play
- Tap a squid on the board to send it to the tray below. You can only take squids with nothing on top of them; darker squids are still covered.
- Matching squids line up next to each other in the tray. Get 3 of the same squid and they clear away!
- Clear every squid from the board to win the stage.
- The tray holds 7 squids. If it fills up you lose — but the first time is safe, and the last squid you took goes back to the board.
- You also lose if no squid can be taken. If that happens, retry and try picking in a different order.
Features
- Three modes — Easy, Normal and Hard — with 300 stages each. Clear 30 stages of one mode to unlock the next.
- Watch out for ink-hidden squids that reveal themselves only once nothing is on top, and squids hiding in shells that come out after a few matches.
- There are also stacks that hand out one squid at a time, and squids tied together with a rope that go to the tray in pairs.
- Every 10th stage is a boss stage. Take your time and think it through!
- Beat all 300 stages and you can go around again for another round.
Tips
- Make finishing a pair already in the tray your top priority — grab the third one as soon as you can.
- Taking one of every kind fills the tray fast. Focus on colors you can complete soon.
- Peek at the squids hidden underneath, and think about what each pick will uncover before you take it.
- When only 2 tray spaces are left, be careful: only take squids that complete a match right away.
Who it’s for
Great for anyone who wants a relaxed brain workout surrounded by cute characters. Stages are fairly short, which makes it perfect for a quick break.
