IKA SLIDE
Slide each squid across the board and into the home of its color!
Free · No sign-up · Play in your browser
IKA SLIDE is a puzzle where you swipe squids across the board and guide them into the homes of their color around the edge. Once a squid starts sliding, it won't stop until it bumps into a wall or another squid! Figure out where each one will stop and how to turn the corner, and bring everyone home in as few moves as you can.
Solve stage 300 on Hard for an IQ of 170!
How to play IKA SLIDE
- Swipe a squid and it slides in that direction. It stops when it hits a wall or another squid.
- Around the edge of the board are colored home entrances. Slide a squid into the home of its color to bring it home.
- Bring every squid home to clear the stage! You'll see how many moves you took next to the shortest possible solution.
- Sliding into a home of the wrong color is a miss. Normal and Hard give you 3 hearts, and your first miss is free (Easy has no hearts at all).
- Use Undo to go back one move, or Retry to start the stage over.

Features
- Three modes — Easy, Normal and Hard — with 300 stages each. Clear 100 stages of one mode to unlock the next.
- Meet rocks that never move, big squids that only fit through a wide enough home, straight squids that only move the way their arrow points, and seaweed that stops squids in their tracks.
- There are also frozen squids that thaw as others get home, locked homes that open after enough squids return, and dress-up squids that change color when they shed their coat!
- Each new twist is explained by Chibi Squid the first time it shows up.
- Out of hearts? Watch an ad to get 1 heart back and keep playing.
How the game goes
Easy has no hearts, so you can play relaxed without worrying about mistakes. Clear 100 stages to move on to Normal and then Hard, where you get three hearts. As you go, new twists arrive one after another: boulders, big squids, straight-arrow squids, seaweed, frozen squids, locked houses and dress-up squids. Mini Squid explains each new one when it first appears. After each clear you also see the fewest possible moves, so aiming for a perfect run is part of the fun.
IKA SLIDE tips
- If a squid can't go straight home, use another squid or a rock as a wall to make it stop exactly where you need it.
- Before you swipe, trace the path with your eyes to see where the squid will stop. It saves a lot of misses.
- Once a squid goes home, it's no longer there to block others. Think about the order you send them home!
- Chasing the shortest solution? Look for moves that do two jobs at once: moving a squid forward while also setting up a stopper for another.
Who it’s for
Ideal for anyone who likes planning a path and hunting for the neatest solution. Easy mode has no hearts, so it's relaxed enough to play together with young kids.

Yes, "Undo" takes you back one move. If you want to rethink from scratch, "Restart" takes you back to the start of the stage.
Q. What happens when I run out of hearts?
In Normal and Hard you have to start over, but you can watch an ad to get one heart back and keep going. Easy has no hearts at all, so mistakes never stop you.
Q. Is my progress saved?
Yes, it's saved automatically in this browser, so you can tap "Continue" next time. Clearing your browser data will erase it.
