IKA TANGLE
Move tangled squid legs into empty holes to untangle them.

IKA TANGLE is a puzzle where you sort out a board full of Chibi Squids whose legs are all tangled up. Grab a leg tip and move it to an empty hole: the leg stretches straight to its new spot, and any legs that cross glow red. Clear all the red within the move limit to win. The rules are simple, but the deeper you think, the more there is to discover.
Solve all 100 Hard stages and you're at IQ 160!
How to play
- Grab a leg tip (the round end) with your finger and drag it to an empty hole. The leg always runs in a straight line from the squid to that hole.
- Any leg that crosses another leg glows red. Get rid of every red leg to clear the stage!
- The counter shows how many moves you have left. Made a mistake? Tap Undo to take back a move, and you get that move back too.
- A leg can't go into a hole right next to its own squid (diagonals count), a hole already used by a squid or another leg, or a coral hole.
- If you run out of moves, the first time on each stage is safe: you get extra moves, so keep going!
Features
- Three difficulties — Easy, Normal and Hard — with 100 stages each, and you can switch difficulty at any time.
- New gimmicks keep appearing, like Sleepy Squids (Zzz) whose legs can't move and coral holes that no leg can enter.
- From Normal on, you'll meet Twin Squids with two legs each. A twin's own legs may touch at the base, but they must not overlap.
- Hard mode is tight on moves, and from stage 61 on there are "Exact" stages that can only be solved in the fewest possible moves.
- Undo lets you rethink as many times as you like, so you can take your time and enjoy every puzzle.
Tips
- First, look for the leg that crosses the most other legs. Moving that one often untangles a lot at once.
- Sleepy Squids' legs never move, so plan the other legs to route around them.
- Stretching a leg toward the edge of the board usually keeps it out of the way of other legs.
- On "Exact" stages, picture the finished board in your head before you make your first move.
Who it’s for
Perfect for anyone who loves the satisfaction of untangling a mess, or who enjoys puzzles where you plan every move. There's no timer, so you can play at your own pace.
