IKA JET
Read the direction and tap — squids jet off the board in a burst of ink!
Free · No sign-up · Play in your browser
IKA JET is a puzzle where you launch squids off a crowded board one by one with a jet of ink. Each squid can only fly the way its head is pointing, so the key is figuring out the right order. There's no timer, so take your time and clear the whole board.
Solve Hard stage 1,000 and your IQ tops 200!
How to play
- Tap a squid and it jets off in the direction its head is pointing. Launch every squid to clear the stage!
- If nothing is in the way ahead of its head, the squid flies all the way off the board.
- If another squid is in the way — bonk! You lose a life. You have 3 lives, and your first miss is free.
- Launch the squids that are in the way first to open a path. There's no timer, so think the order through.
- New here? Start with the practice stage to learn how launching works with just three squids.
Features
- Three modes — Easy, Normal and Hard — with 1,000 stages each. Clear 100 stages of one mode to unlock the next. Every 10th stage is a gimmick-free bonus stage.
- New gimmicks appear step by step: Coral Rocks that never move, Sleepy Squids that won't wake up until others fly, Twin Squids tied together that launch as a pair, and Jumbo Squids that take up two cells.
- In Normal mode, meteors crash down and turn into rocks. Tap rocks to break them — break three and the Ink Boost makes every squid that can fly light up.
- Hard mode means big boards with every gimmick thrown in.
- Each cleared stage shows a fun "IQ" score for that puzzle.
Tips
- First, look for squids with a completely clear path ahead. Squids on the edge facing outward are a great place to start.
- If a squid can't fly yet, launch the one blocking it first. Tracing paths backward helps you see the right order.
- Twin Squids need a clear path for both. For a Jumbo Squid, check that both of its lanes are open.
- Tapping a Sleepy Squid doesn't cost a life. Leave it for later until enough other squids have flown.
Who it’s for
Great for quick play in spare moments and for anyone who likes puzzles about finding the right order. Watching squids zoom away is really satisfying.
