A golf game played on colorful pixel-art courses. Set your aim, then tap twice for power and impact to take your shot! Seven courses await, from woods and seaside links to desert, snowfield, volcano and even the Moon.
A birdie means Golf IQ 120, and an eagle means IQ 140!
How to play
- Swipe the screen left or right to aim, then press SHOT!
- On the bar at the bottom, the ▼ marker moves right. Tap wherever you like to set the power (how far the ball flies).
- When ▼ comes back, tap on the Impact line at the left. The closer you are, the straighter the shot; miss it and the ball curves left or right.
- You have 5 clubs: Driver, 5 Iron, 9 Iron, Sand Wedge and Putter. One is picked for you, and you can tap the bottom right to switch.
- Hole out in as few strokes as you can. Water costs a 1-stroke penalty and a replay. The first miss on each hole is free.
Features
- 7 courses: Squid Woods, Gull Cape (18 holes), Babbling Valley, Cactus Desert, Frozen Snowfield, Fire Volcano Isle and Moon Craters. All the others have 10 holes.
- Squid Woods and Gull Cape are open from the start. Clear both and the next courses unlock one by one.
- Wind, ponds, bunkers, out-of-bounds and sloped greens, plus course-specific twists like slippery frozen ponds and lava that costs a stroke.
- On the Moon, low gravity makes the ball fly 1.5 times as far. Go off the course and it flies into space!
- You get a Golf IQ for every hole and every course, and each course has its own nature-sound music.
Tips
- Tapping right on the Impact line gives a Just Impact. Hitting straight matters more than raw power.
- In strong wind, check the arrow at the top right and aim a little into the wind.
- Sloped greens curve the ball the way the arrows point, so aim slightly the other way.
- In a bunker, use the Sand Wedge. Other clubs barely fly from sand.
Who it’s for
You don't need to know golf; timing your taps is all it takes. A great pick for fans of retro pixel art and anyone who enjoys a little virtual travel.
