IKA BLOCK
Place blocks, fill lines, rescue squids. Plus an endless high-score mode.

IKA BLOCK is a puzzle where you drop blocks onto an 8×8 board and clear full rows and columns. In the levels, squids are trapped inside blocks, and clearing their lines sets them free. There's also an Endless mode for chasing high scores, so it fits a quick break or a long session just as well.
Make it all the way to level 1,000 on Hard for an IQ of 300!
How to play
- Drag the 3 blocks at the bottom onto the board. Blocks can't be rotated. Once all 3 are placed, you get 3 new ones.
- Fill a whole row or column and it vanishes in a splash of ink. Clear several lines at once for big points!
- In the levels, clearing a line that holds a squid block rescues that squid. Rescue them all to clear the level.
- If no block fits anywhere, you're out. But in Easy and Normal, the first time is safe: you get small blocks that do fit.
- Endless mode is all about your high score — keep going until there's no room left.
Features
- Three modes — Easy, Normal and Hard — with 1,000 levels each. Clear 100 levels of one mode to unlock the next.
- Special blocks join in as you go: shells that break after two clears, rocks that never clear, and ink bombs that blast the 3×3 area around them.
- Every 10th level is a little trickier, and every 100th level is a boss level.
- Endless is a high-score mode you can play anytime. Keep clearing lines back to back to build combos for bonus points!
- Out of room? Watch an ad and a splash of ink clears 3 rows so you can keep going from where you are.
Tips
- Always keep one big open area free, so you have room when a large block like the 3×3 square or a 5-long bar shows up.
- Of the 3 blocks, place the one with the fewest possible spots first — it keeps you from getting boxed in.
- Clearing several lines at once makes your score jump. Sometimes it pays to wait a move and clear them together!
- In the levels, focus on lines that hold squid blocks. A rock still counts as a filled cell in its line.
Who it’s for
Great for anyone who loves the feeling of a block snapping perfectly into place, or who wants a quick game in a spare moment. Score chasers can test themselves in Endless.
