IKALINK is a puzzle where you trace a line between two squids of the same color. Lines can't cross, and a stage is cleared once every cell on the board is filled. Each puzzle has exactly one answer. From quick little boards to big ones where you have to read every route, the feeling of linking everything up is addictive.

How to play IKALINK
- Drag from a squid to draw a line. Extend it up, down, left or right (no diagonals) until it reaches the other squid of the same color.
- Lines of different colors can't overlap — each cell can hold only one line.
- Connect every pair and leave no empty cells to clear the stage. A route that leaves a gap is the wrong one.
- Drag back to shorten a line. When you let go, a correct path locks in, while a path that blocks other squids counts as a miss and costs a heart. Your first miss on each stage is free.
- Prefer to draw freely? In Settings you can turn off misses for wrong paths and just fill the board.

- Three modes — Easy, Normal and Hard — with 1,000 stages each. Clear 100 stages to unlock the next mode, or prove your skill in the Skip Test to unlock it right away.
- A daily puzzle every day: clear it for pearls, with a bonus for a 7-day streak!
- After 10 stages you unlock the Ink Boost: link a pair correctly and a squid sprays ink dots showing where a nearby squid's line will run.
- Meteor events can link a pair for you, and hints are there when you need them. Hard mode turns off meteors and Ink Boost for a true challenge.
- Turn on color marks to show numbers on the squids so colors are easier to tell apart. Pearls also buy characters and outfits.
How the game goes
There are three modes, Easy, Normal and Hard, and clearing 100 stages in one opens the next. If you're confident, pass the Skip Test to unlock the next mode right away. Boards grow larger as you go, and routing faraway pairs becomes the real challenge. After 10 stages the Ink Boost unlocks, and meteor events and hints are there to help too. Hard turns those off for a true test. There's also a new daily puzzle every day.
IKALINK tips
- Pairs sitting close together have almost no choice of route. Link them first and the rest of the board opens up.
- Squids on the edge often connect by running along the wall. Keeping the middle free gives other lines room to pass.
- A corner cell has only two neighbors, so any line through it must turn in an L shape. Think about corners early.
- If your lines trap a cell that no color can reach, that route is wrong. Pairs that are far apart usually loop around the outside.

Q. What happens if I draw the wrong path?
A line that blocks another squid's path counts as a mistake and costs one heart, though your first mistake is forgiven. If you'd rather draw freely, switch on the setting that doesn't count wrong paths as mistakes.
Q. Is there a daily puzzle?
Yes, there's a new daily puzzle every day. Clear it for pearls, with a bonus for a 7-day streak. If you miss a day, you can sometimes watch an ad to keep your streak.
Q. Is my progress saved?
Yes, it's saved automatically in this browser, so you can tap "Continue" next time. Clearing your browser data will erase your pearls and streak too.
